As a "Companion"
we have many responsibilities that fall under the umbrella of
"companion". Some of the duties of a companion are:

Sitter - As a
sitter, we provide the client with as much comfort, attention
and respect as possible. The client may be bedridden or
terminally ill.

Read - We will
usually read a book or bible to a client.

Games - We may
play cards or board games with them
-
Meals - meal
preparation
-
Conversation -
mind stimulation, talk about the weather, what
day/month/year/season it is. Current events and media.

Always remember that at Community
Helping Hands, none of our employees will ever discuss the client with
anyone. We will always respect the client and make them as comfortable
as possible.
